The aim of the seminar was to learn about good practices in the Hamburg region and to share progress in the implementation of the action plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight\">Study trips were organised to different locations in the Hamburg region to discover the tourism practices of the region. A workshop was held to discuss the future of the project and to allow the partners to position themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STAR Cities European online conference &#8211; December 14<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After three and a half years of cooperation, we were pleased to present the first results of the STAR Cities project to the local authorities and all the stakeholders on the banks of the Marne: publication of a good practices guide, implementation of an action plan in 2022 and new projects for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"text-align:center;\"><div style=\"margin:8px 0px 4px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.calameo.com\/books\/0069329175f663498abd5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">STAR Cities Good Practices guide<\/a><\/div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/v.calameo.com\/?bkcode=0069329175f663498abd5&amp;mode=mini\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"margin:0 auto;\"><\/iframe><div style=\"margin:4px 0px 8px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calameo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lire plus de publications sur Calam\u00e9o<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STAR Cities European conference &#8211; November 26<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As the STAR Cities project is gearing towards the end of its first phase of development, the partnership will present the <strong>results of three years of cooperation for a better tourism management in Riverside Cities<\/strong> during an<strong> online conference<\/strong> hosted by our <strong>partner NECSTouR<\/strong> on November, 26.<br>It will introduce the good practices guide, a document gathering the knowledge learned during the seminars of phase 1 as well as policy recommendations. Pitching sessions of good practices will explore different challenges :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engaging locals &amp; communities in river tourism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing new tourism products &amp; marketing strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving governance systems &amp; gooperation of stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising awareness on environment &amp; sustainability topics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-1 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=9yG5RS2pEUWuVJV5oAuVZylNZaUC_vpNhEEgZIvQTmNUNFpYU1VWUE9YMUdBTUo2QUdaT1VFVFExQi4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">REGISTER<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STAR Cities : Implementation of the action plan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">The second phase of the STAR Cities project (2021-2023) will be dedicated to the <strong>implementation of the action plan<\/strong> written during the first phase of the project. The action plan will be implemented in each of the partners territories, including the Marne river banks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-highlight\">First phase of the STAR Cities project (2018-2021), exchange of good practices<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STAR Cities &#8211; Good practices webinars on \u00ab\u00a0Environment &amp; Sustainability\u00a0\u00bb<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The partners of STAR Cities took part in a virtual seminar on April 2021. The main themes of the event were \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Environment &amp; Sustainability<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb and the session was hosted by the the <strong>Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region<\/strong> (RRA LUR) located in Slovenia. The<strong> Val-de-Marne Tourism Board<\/strong> hosted the event as the lead partner of the project. The 7 <strong>partners of STAR Cities<\/strong> gathered to present the State of Play of Riverside Cities and to start the exchange of good practices process.
