Metro, Bus, RER: a fast and cheaper way to ride…
The Val-de-Marne is right next to Paris, offering a vast public transportation network that has frequent and inexpensive links with Paris. This direct access network makes it possible to stay in the countryside just outside Paris and visit the most beautiful sites in the Capital in a matter of minutes!

Open from 5:30 am to 12:45 am, it is a very practical means of quickly getting to Paris and its tourist areas or business districts.
Line 1
From Château de Vincennes to la Défense, it crosses Paris from east to west, serving the Gare de Lyon, Bastille and its Opera, Châtelet, the Louvre, Concorde, Champs-Elysées and Etoile!
Line 7
You can reach the Latin quarter, the Marais, the Louvre, Garnier Opera or even the Gare de l’Est Train Station when leaving from Villejuif and Ivry-sur-Seine.
Line 8
Créteil is the last stop on this line that serves Maisons-Alfort (Veterinary School and Fragonard Museum), Charenton (Bercy 2 Shopping Centre), Opera, Grands Boulevards shopping and Concorde.

The Val-de-Marne has numerous bus lines linking outlying regions with metro and RER stations. Many of these lines will also take you to neighbouring departments.

Certain special buses are worth mentioning:
the Trans Val-de-Marne (TVM) services all of the Val-de-Marne from Rungis to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.
the PC services the entire Paris ring road, offering numerous metro connections: Porte de Vincennes, Porte Dorée, Porte de Charenton, Porte d’Ivry, Porte de Choisy, Porte d’Italie, and more!
Noctambus serves the Val-de-Marne after the metro and RER have closed for the night.
H Line: Châtelet / Gare de Nogent-Le Perreux
I Line:Porte d’Italie / Pyramide de Juvisy
L Line: Châtelet / Sous-préfecture Eglise de l’Haÿ-les-Roses
M Line: Châtelet / Sucy Bonneuil
R Line: Châtelet / Rungis
  On the hour during the week and every ½ hour during the weekend, from 1:00 am to 5:35 am. Special fares apply.
RER (Regional express transit network)
All RER lines travel across the Val-de-Marne and serve the most beautiful sites. You will also find an RER station in every Paris SNCF Train Stations.
Waiting times range from 3 to 30 minutes (during off hours). Travel time is very short because the furthest station from Paris is only a 30-minute ride.

From La Défense to Disneyland Paris, serving Etoile, Opéra, Châtelet, Gare de Lyon, Nation, including Vincennes and Fontenay-sous-Bois in the Val-de-Marne…
You can reach the banks of the Marne River by taking this same line in the direction of Boissy-Saint-Léger! Nogent-sur-Marne, Joinville-le-Pont, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Champigny-sur-Marne, Chennevières, Sucy, Bonneuil… the list of riverside towns is endless.
b line
From Orly (ORY) to Roissy (CDG) Airports, serving Denfert-Rochereau, Luxembourg, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Châtelet, Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, Stade de France, including Arcueil, Cachan and Gentilly located at the gates of Paris!
c line
From Orly Airport to Versailles, serving Gare d'Austerlitz, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, the Orsay Museum and the Eiffel Tower.
It is the ideal line if you are staying in Ivry, Vitry, Choisy, Orly, Rungis or Villeneuve-le-Roi.
d line
Serving Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Maisons-Alfort (Veterinary School and Fragonard museum) and Alfortville, with destinations to Gare de Lyon, Châtelet, Gare du Nord and the Stade de France.
e line
Serving Villiers-sur-Marne, Champigny-sur-Marne, Nogent-sur-Marne, Le Perreux-sur-Marne and Fontenay-sous-Bois, with destinations to Haussmann Boulevard, the neighbourhood surrounding the Saint-Lazare Train Station and the major shopping district.
